De goudmijnen van Aruba, waar men vroeger het goud uit het gesteente probeerde te halen. Wat nu rest is alleen nog de zwarte ruine, of wilt u toch nog even checken?? En op de weg naar deze goudmijnen ligt een verborgen natural pool, dat wijzen wij u even aan, want hij ligt tenslotte verborgen...

Beautiful to visit and accessible with any car and only a 10min drive. Back in the day this place was used as a Gold Mill.

The Aruba Island Gold Mining Company built the Bushiribana smelter in 1825 to extract gold from the ore that was being mined in the nearby hills of Ceru Plat; it operated for ten years. Today, its remains are a stopping-off point for tourists on their way to view the Aruba Natural Bridge, which collapsed on September 2, 2005

Ruins of what was once a gold mill. You can access this historic site by car. Stay hydrated and make sure to use sunblock.

Built in 1825 as a place to melt gold .These ruins are on an open beach and have spectacular views and if you want to get sea salt there is a lot around the rocks.
