You can walk to the pier and back home in a nice circular walk which would take about 1.5 hours all in. Or you could drive there a lot quicker.

Bangor Garth Pier, Wales’ second longest pier, ensures our visitors are provided with panoramic views of Menai Straits and Anglesey, as well as the Welsh mainland. When walking on the quay, be sure to tuck into delectable cakes and tea on offer in the 14 sided timber pavilion tearoom. Fishing enthusiasts can prebook evening fishing or by day cab fishing is also available.
