Rubio's is a chain take out restaurant, but it has the best fish tacos I've ever had. If you want something quick and easy, and very SoCal, this is a great place to stop! You can also sit down and eat at the restaurant. They serve beer and wine.

Rubio's "Numero Uno" first location in San Diego; the best-known fish taco place, but it offers so much more! Lots of choices, including many with "heart-healthy" ingredients.

THIS IS THE ORIGINAL. This is where it all started. the first Rubios was just a shack on this site. Now it's a chain !

there's a Rubios nearby Grass Skirt, but heck why not visit the original one? the first one ever. It was a shack, and then he gradually built a structure around it in the 80s. Now it's a chain!
