This one is an authentic jewel. If you want to go to a truly Mexican place, where Mexican families meet on Sundays, and where middle-class families take grandma for her birthday, this is it. We enjoy the tacos de guisado -mole, tinga, and carnitas are our best. But more elaborate plates are also interesting. You’ll find authentic pozole, chicken with mole and, if you are lucky, you should order the seasonal chile en nogada.

A restaurant of Puebla area specialties, very good seasoning! The chalupitas that give the name to the local are my favorites! Good breakfasts! $$+
