In the courtyard of this old dwelling - built in the fifteenth century by Diomede Carafa, first Earl of Maddaloni - there is the cast of a large horse's head, which is believed to magically heal horses. The original bronze statue is in the main hall of the National Archaeological Museum of Naples.
