You will definitely have heard of this beach, as it is one of the best in Greece and in Europe. It is located 5 km from Naxos town at a sheltered location with white sand and a length of 1,5 km. It is well organized and offers its visitors many opportunities and facilities for sunbathing and water sports of all kinds. Here you will enjoy the natural beauty in all its glory. On the edge of the coast you will find the church of Agios Prokopios. Behind the dunes lies a village with hotels, cafes and bars.

Just 2km south of Chora is the beach called Agios Georgios.For the most people is the best in Cyclades, not only in Naxos.It has been rated as Greece’s third best beach and among Europe’s top ten. An enormous beach with coarse sand, the setting here includes sand dunes and crystal-clear waters whose color alternates from blue to deep blue and turquoise.It operates as an organized beach with sun umbrellas and sunbeds set up along its greatest part, but also includes a quieter, less frequented segment at its western edge, where the chapel of the same name stands.

Agios Prokopios beach in Naxos Greece is a long (1,5 kilometers), sandy beach with crystal clear waters awarded yearly with an EU Blue Flag since 1985. It has two sides; the organized part offers sun beds and umbrellas and a free part so that you can enjoy the sea and the sun in peace and quiet. It is ideal for diving. At the coast you will find shops and snorkelling gear providers to discover the magnificent underwater landscapes. Agios Prokopios beach in Naxos Greece is well protected from the winds so you don’t have to worry about the weather. You have to visit the natural little lakes formed near the Agios Prokopios beach in Naxos Greece. You will find all kinds of shops for your entertainment and convenience including restaurants, cafes, beach bars, bakeries, and water sport facilities, food markets, pharmacy and ATM. The unorganized part of the village is so beautiful that you have to visit it even if you don’t stay there for swimming. The beach was named after the little church at the end of the bay dedicated to St. Prokopios.
