The national gallery. Constable, van Gogh, Monet etc. Some of canvases are on a large scale and take a bit of time to take in. I particularly enjoy 'Lady Agnew of Lochnaw' a very striking portrait.
Founded in 1850, the National Gallery of Scotland and the neighbouring Royal Scottish Academy were designed by the renowned architect William Playfair. Situated right in the heart of the city centre on The Mound, the gallery is known for exhibiting the works of some of the most celebrated Scottish artists.
