This gorgeous sanctuary for birds has been created over decades on land which was once reserved for Geelong's early industrial sites. This reclaimed space offers plenty of scope for getting close to nature. There are also picnic tables, toilets and nature trails. The area links to the large network of scenic paths that travel along both sides of the Barwon River and are extremely popular with joggers and cyclists.

Wonderful little wildlife sanctuary near the Barwon River. Enjoy a run around with the kids or go for a walk or jog along the Barwon River with here as your starting point.
