The island is also home to Camano Island State Park, which boasts 173 acres prime for camping, hiking and bird watching.

The Alpaca Farm Retreat

The Alpaca Retreat is located on 100 acres of private farm and forest land with sweeping views of Port Susan and Mt. Rainier. The newly renovated 3600 sq. foot house, spaciously accommodates up to 10 people and is located just 5 minutes from Stanwood. The location is quiet and relaxing with no visible neighbors. For active leisure, there is a basketball hoop, a pickleball court, a ping pong table, and best of all, the viewing of very cute alpacas!

Featuring custom woodwork and trim milled from trees from the site, the art-filled cabin includes a double bed in the loft (accessed via a somewhat challenging spiral staircase), a well-equipped kitchenette and Wi-Fi with high-speed internet access. Situated on five acres of woodland seven minutes from scenic Langley, it's a lovingly built sanctuary ready for you!
