Our retreat though small has all the necessities and room for 2 people, w/full size bed, smart screen, fully stocked kitchen and bathroom. Enjoy the peace and quiet of our private setting, or take in the theaters of Branson, or natural activities of the Buffalo River, such as hiking,canoeing etc. Enjoy leisure living from a different Angle!

The Cabin in Our Neck of the Woods

The Cabin is a tiny house located in a peaceful, wooded country setting at the base of Gaither Mountain half way between Harrison and Jasper, AR. The Cabin is just off the highway with three quarter mile of gravel / dirt road. Please note, dirt road with gravel, hills, and curves. Close to the Buffalo National River. Excellent opportunities for canoeing, fishing, hiking, bicycling, motorcycling, and wildlife observation. Or relaxing in Mother Nature's backyard.

Sumerset Cottage

Sumerset Cottage was specifically designed to offer a place of calm and peaceful relaxation. Come enjoy the screened in sunroom then look out over a beautiful valley and remember how beautiful America really can be. Sumerset Cottage is a guest house owned and hosted by Kirt and Susan Sumers. It is a completely separate cottage although their home is approximately 120 yards away. They will give you privacy or will be glad to visit with you about the area.

This charming cabin is located in the heart of the Upper Buffalo River Wilderness area and is less than 9 miles in either direction to Jasper, Arkansas or to the historic Boxley Valley. Jasper is a quaint town where restaurants, eclectic shops and groceries can be found and the Boxley Valley offers many opportunities to view the wild elk that live there and also has many great hikes including Lost Valley and the Buffalo River Trail (BRT).

Whether you want to enjoy the Buffalo River just a few miles south of us or Branson 30 mins. north of us, our location is ideal for both. Our 2 bedroom 1 bathroom cottage can accommodate 1-4 people. Come enjoy the scenic Ozarks with lots of fishing, hiking, and canoeing nearby!
