The living area has a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, fireplace, lounge & bar. The deck has a gas BBQ area & tables. There is a hot tub overlooking the lake.

We are situated on Papaiti Road, on the true righthand side of the Whanganui River, approximately 8km up the river from the centre of the city.

Soothing Riverside Cabin, Taumarunui

No cleaning fee, minimum 2 night stay. Cabin is a bedroom only, toilet, shower and kitchen located separately a few metres away. You are on the tip of a peninsula in the Whanganui River. Lie in bed and watch the fish rise in the morning, sit around the fire in the evening enjoying the peace and quiet after a swim. Mountains are 40 mins away, kayaking tours 10 mins away and Taumarunui is 12km. Please don't bring water, safe water is provided. Limiting plastic is much appreciated. No pets.

A large section has room for the boat with the boat ramp only a short 1 min drive away. This Bach is perfect for both a summer or a winter holiday.
