St Lawrence Apartment in Alfama, Lisbon Historic Center

Nous avons passé 5 nuits dans cet appartement du cœur de l’affama, un endroit charmant et très central proche de nombreux commerces et du château sao Jorge. La rue à proximité est animée mais pas trop bruyante. La vue sur les toits est dingue. L’appartement est très propre et très bien équipé, il y a même une trousse de secours ! Un seul petit bémol, le restaurant du rez de chaussée dont la porte de la cuisine reste ouverte sur l’escalier et qui provoque des odeurs de nourriture. Mais dans l’ensemble, un endroit vraiment au top ou nous pourrions retourner tout de suite.

Unique Gilders Penthouse River View

The view is magical and the furnishings perfectly complement the area. The building, although located in the heart of everything, is extremely quiet. You can see the Arco da Rue Augusta, the people on the street, the city coming to life but you won’t hear it! The view is from every window but the apartment feels private. It’s decorated with a nod towards the history of gold artisans. The decorative elements are gilded, many times in a playful way (golden frames sculpture on the wall, golden table). Every design choice has been curated to create a feeling of opulence and high end comfort. The lighting is whimsical while also being functional. A chandelier in the bathroom feels decadent! Miguel met us at the apartment and introduced us to Lisbon with information about sites and nearby services. His passion for Portugal is evident and infectious! We used his service for airport transportation and as we were leaving and he treated us to a mini tour. He is a wealth of information!

Adoramos o espaço!! Nossos dias em Lisboa com certeza foram mais agradáveis por causa do apartamento. Marta foi muito gentil em nos oferecer a antecipação do check-in ao saber que o hóspede anterior deixaria o apartamento um pouco mais cedo que o previsto, mas infelizmente não pudemos aproveitar porque nosso voo para Lisboa atrasou. De qualquer forma, apreciamos a gentileza. O apartamento fica a cerca de 15 minutos caminhando das estações Cais do Sodré e Baixa-Chiado, o que facilitou muito a nossa locomoção pela cidade. Fizemos quase tudo a pé. O banheiro é enorme e o chuveiro é excelente, assim como as roupas de cama e banho. A cozinha possui todos os utensílios necessários e a lava louça facilita muito a vida. Também gostamos da gentileza de disponibilizarem chá, café, azeite e sal. Por fim, nossa comunicação com a Marta foi fácil e agradável. Recomendamos demais!! :)

This was an excellent Airbnb: clean, comfortable, in a great area. Having a washer /dryer in the unit was incredibly useful. But what made this stay exceptional for us were the individuals working the reception area, especially David and Ana. Their hospitality, responsiveness and recommendations were superb. We would definitely stay there again!

Very hospitable host. Even though we arrived close to midnight, the check-in was free and Carlos was kind enough and took the time to show us the place and explain everything to us. The location and surroundings were really nice, calm neighborhood with many coffee shops and bakeries to enjoy the morning hours.

Great location near all restaurants and bars - would highly recommend cafe Dozo (small sushi restaurant a few minutes walk) . Whilst in a busy area, actual street where properly located very quiet, so fine for families with young kids such as ours. Thank you!

Stylish duplex located in the festive district

We loved this duplex apartment right in the heart of one of the most vibrant parts of Lisbon. There is lots to do right by the apartment but once you were inside, it was completely silent from the surrounding nightlife. Isabelle also provided lots of recommendations that proved to be fantastic and more local options than a lot of the more touristy places we may of gone to otherwise. Highly recommend staying here

Absolutely loved this stay! Beautifully appointed flat, and reception is also so helpful and friendly. It was the perfect way to start our stay in Lisbon and I wished we could have stayed here for the duration of our trip. The location is very convenient and walkable, with many great restaurants in the vicinity. The flat itself is very clean, with nice linens - very nicely designed. I loved the high ceilings and waking up and opening the windows was a morning perk! The larger bed (larger than typical European king -- more like a US king size) was also very much appreciated. Thank you so much for a really lovely stay!! I would certainly rebook for any return visits to Lisbon!

Large 5 bedroom Apartment w/ Spa Bath

This is a very large, 2nd floor apartment with expansive living areas and several modern bathrooms. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen modern. We were a family of 11 of which 4 were young children 5 to 11. The kids loved it. It was a convenient location - We walked to many places or used the tourist bus which is based at the nearby massive roundabout.

Michael was definitely a super host. He brought us to the apartment, showed us around and was always responsive to our needs. The apartment itself is very comfortable and well supplied with many things you will need. The location is a 15- minute walk to Rossio square going downhill and/or flat much of the way. If you walk up the stairs outside the apartment and turn right, you will find yourself in the area around St. George’s Castle. There are fantastic restaurants all around. (Try Portofino if you like Italian). You can’t go wrong with this place; I highly recommend it.

Amazing lodging option in Lisbon! The unit comfortably fit our group of 6 (3 couples). The location is great and centrally located and the unit was clean and came with an incredible view of the city and ocean. Check in instructions were very detailed and the host was attentive and responsive.

Super Aufenthalt, würde jederzeit wieder kommen. Sehr zentral gelegen, schön, groß. Kommunikation war super, als wir etwas brauchten wurde es uns gebracht. Steile Treppen im Haus, aber das hat uns nicht gestört.

Arthur and Patricia were great hosts. Great central location with lots of shops and cafes nearby but still quiet. Arthur gave us many local tips and suggestions which we took on board! Arthur was very friendly and accommodating overall, and also allowed us to drop off our bags early before the house was ready. The house was very clean and perfect for what we needed for 3 days in Lisbon. Huge bonus was the incredibly comfortable bed. Would stay again!

Paula’s place was a time capsule taking you back in time. The house, location and the decor gives you a slice of life in Lisbon that you’ve always wanted to experience. This was great for a family of 4. Paula was very responsive to all questions and was nice enough to accommodate one of our requests. Would love to come back and stay at this little gem.

Llegamos al apartamento y siguiendo las indicaciones de João no tuvimos ningún problema en llegar y entrar al apartamento. El apartamento estaba limpio y nos pareció que estaba en buenas condiciones, aunque nosotros no hicimos uso de la cocina porque comíamos desayunabamos y cenábamos fuera ya que hicimos muchas excursiones, estaba bien equipada con todo lo necesario. Lo recomiendo a quien quiera visitar la zona, esta cerca de la playa y cerca de lisboa Gracias João !!!! Volveremos !!!!

I know why this is a favorite place to book. The place is amazing and Luis is so warm ,welcoming and so kind. The breakfast’s Luis provides are delicious and we felt so spoiled. We will definitely stay at Luis’ place in Lisbon again.

O apartamento é confortável e organizado. Apesar de não ficar dentro do centro histórico, fica perto de ótimos cafés e restaurantes e tem autocarros à porta para as principais atrações turísticas e centro histórico. Recomendo!

Casa Michão - Cascais Downtown at the beach

Het appartement is zelfs mooier en ruimer dan op de foto’s. Het is op de eerste verdieping met een lift. Het ligt op 2 min loopafstand van het strand en het centrum, station is 10 min. lopen. Het is ideaal en zeer rustig. Ruim genoeg voor 4 personen. Wij hebben genoten!

Beautiful apartment overlooking the river , the area was excellent if you have a car , ample parking and east to drive to the city centre of Lisbon , the area itself is really relaxing and away from the hustle bustle , Ana was a great host and all details were clear before check in , the apartment had a fabulous terrace space where we spent most of our evenings , I would definitely book this stay again next time I am in Lisbon

L appartement est tres agréable et décoré avec goût, vous y trouverez tout le necessaire pour votre sejour, le petit hic le couloir aérien qui passe au dessus ,celui-ci traverse Lisbonne.Nous sommes en ville donc le bruit est un peu plus présent.L acces aux transports est a proximité, La ligne 760 est ideale. L appartement est situé idéalement entre le centre ville de Lisbonne et d autres decouvertes a faire comme LX factory,la tour de Belem etc..Notre hôte Claudia est une personne bienveillante,

We had a lovely stay. The unit was very clean, spacious, simply decorated and aesthetically pleasing. The wi-fi worked well. The water pressure from the shower and faucets were really good. It's an amazingly located building in the middle of it all but still pretty quiet at night. Countless wonderful places to eat in the area and the coffee shop directly attached to the building was very good. There was some slight construction happening on the weekdays (beginning around 8am) but we rarely had an issue since we were usually out of the unit at that time. The building has a small elevator which was very convenient. The check-in process was very simple. We were greeted upon arrival and shown around the unit. The hosts were responsive and informative. The next time we are in Lisbon, we are heavily considering staying here again and we would highly recommend this AirBnB to others.
