Beautifully positioned for a break away by the sea. The house is small but incredibly charming and there is so much to do in Whitstable and beyond on the Kent coast. Whilst parking provided us with a bit of a headache, that is a small price to pay for the change to stay in this hidden gem and Amanda was really helpful and responsive.

We had a fantastic couple of days by the seaside staying in this lovely house. It was clean and cosy with great design and everything we needed for our stay. The wood burning stove was a particularly nice feature for April evenings and the outdoor space was a real sun trap to capture Spring sunshine. All the shops, great restaurants and the seafront were all within a couple of minutes walk. Would definitely recommend it as a delightful getaway spot.

We had a lovely peaceful stay here - it was really easy to find and an accessible location yet also peaceful. There is a lovely restaurant nearby which is great for brunch - Oad Street - but you need to book ahead as it gets really busy. It was a great little peaceful getaway 💫

What a wonderful property Daweswood is! It’s stunning and had everything we needed for our weekend. Allister was lovely, he always responded quickly to my (many) questions in advance of our stay and on the check in day provided so much information and very clear instructions that made it all go smoothly. He even checked in with us after our first night which was lovely. I couldn’t recommend Daweswood and Allister as a host enough, I will absolutely be recommending him, and really hope to stay again.

Stunning Holiday Home! Sandy Lane1min to beach.

We had a great stay, the house was very good and had eveything we needed for a few away, about 2 mins walk to Camber Sands. we like the breakfast and a few beers at the Kit Kat cafe. there is a fish and chip there as well and is ok. It does get windy there, the first day our car was covered with sand. we did have a nice sunny day. There is a small rear garden and sitting area. does need a little TLC, but understand you are basicly near the dunes and there is sand every where. the road to it is a narrow sand road and easyly missed from the main road. very quiet at night, but the birds/seagulls can wake you in the morning. Caber sands looks run down with shops in need of attention, there is an closed down Pontins hoilday resort. but 5 mins drive away is RYE and is a nice place visit and a really good supermarket called Jempson and has great food for your stay.

Beautiful home, in an excellent location. Amanda & Lawrence were super communicative, offering suggestions and advice on everything that we might need. They were understanding of us taking our animals, and provided bowls and blankets for them. The house was perfect for us, and we settled in nicely. 10/10 recommend!

My family and I had a great stay at Martin’s house. Martin’s neighbour let us in and was very welcoming. And it was absolutely spotless, with had thoughtful touches like extra towels for the hot-tub and milk in the fridge. We enjoyed going to the nearby Roman ruins, the beach and wildlife park. The house is not baby-proof, so you’ll have to spend some time moving delicate items if you have small children.

Had a fabulous 2 night stay in the Shepherds Hut. It was very relaxing and felt very private even tho the hosts weren’t far away and very approachable! Would definitely stay again if we’re ever down that part of the country again !

What a little gem in the heart of Broadstairs. We felt so lucky to stay in the cottage which was so pretty. It's right in the middle of everything happening in town but also tucked away so it's not too noisy. The house itself is gorgeous with so much character. Thanks for an amazing stay!

Had a great stay for Easter weekend with our two little ones. We had a nightmare journey down and Matthew allowed us to alter our booking very last minute which was very kind! We really appreciated this. Communication was great throughout our stay. 5 minute drive from Deal seafront / castle. House was perfect for what we needed. Was the first time our little girl had stayed in a cot in her own room! 🙌🏼 Success! Would highly recommend Matthew’s place. Thanks again!

Lovely quaint house in the heart of Sandwich. The house is really well kept, with absolutely everything we needed. Location is perfect close to lots of restaurants. Claire was very responsive and super clear about everything. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in south-east Kent.

We hadden een prachtig verblijf. De ligging van het huis is schitterend. Zicht op zee en de duinen zijn je tuin. Het huis is heel licht en mooi ingericht. De verhuurders waren zeer vriendelijk en onmiddellijk bereikbaar. Onze kinderen hadden het er ook helemaal naar hun zin, zo dicht bij het strand. We hadden ook heel mooi weer :-)

Perfect house - we were a group of 8 old friends reuniting with a weekend away and it couldn’t have been a better place. Clean spacious house, super comfortable beds and great kitchen area with lovely garden for BBQs and ping pong table was great. Walking distance to the beach and Rye just a bit further. Will be back!!

We stayed two nights in this beautiful Georgian garden flat and felt very at home. Antony is super friendly and sent a detailed welcome pack ahead of time including tips for things to see and food recommendations. The kitchen was well equipped (we like to cook for ourselves) and generously provided lots of bits and bobs including milk (soya as well as regular), bread and juice. The garden front and back is very pretty and lovely to sit out in. The wifi was powerful enough to watch shows on our phones, although it was nice to read/play games and not just sit in front of a screen. Absolutely recommend staying here if you want to explore Sheppey (particularly if you want to visit Elmley reserve but stay somewhere homely and cheaper!).

We've had a great stay in Witstable. The apartment is very close to the sea, when the tide is low you can sea the oyster beds. We walked on the market on Saturday and tried fresh oysters farmed from a few hundres meters away. The apartment has a parking space, which was very handy, it had good rooms, bathroom and kitchen. Host is friendly and responsive. Definately a recommendation.

Delightful stay. The flat was a perfect size and the breakfast/welcome basket made it an even easier trip with breakfast and more taken care of. Immaculate and lovingly decorated. Stephen and Debbie were great, thoughtful hosts. Would recommend without hesitation.

We spent a lovely Christmas here and had everything we could possibly need. The location is perfect, endless sea views and plenty of places to walk to with the dogs. The apartments are well stocked with everything needed to cook a beautiful Christmas dinner and Anthony even provided us with lovely Christmas trees. It felt like a home away from home. Anthony kindly let us check-in early and check-out late which helped us truly relax. This was our second time staying and won’t be our last!

We had a great Christmas. The house is a much bigger then the photos. Plenty of space for a large family and more then enough hot water for all of us!! The house is very clean, enough pots, pans plates etc. Lovely setting, loved the little church, which is open for visiters only, seeped in history.

Le logement est très agréable on a l’impression d’arriver dans une maison de famille (jouets, livres…. à disposition). La maison est très bien située, on abandonne la voiture car tout peut se faire à pieds. Le parking dans la maison est un plus très appréciable. Le seul bémol, s’il en faut un, pour les amateurs de café que nous sommes c’est le percolateur. 😉 Nous recommandons sans aucun problème cette belle location.

Villa vue exceptionnelle sur le Cap Gris-Nez

Excellent séjour dans la villa de Thibaud. La vue est exceptionnelle, nous avons profiter de la terrasse par ce beau temps. Le cap Gris-Nez est à 5 mins à pieds et de nombreuses autres randos aux alentours. La maison est joliment décoré, fidèle à la description et le salon est plus grand que sur les photos. La literie était adapté à nos besoins, il y a même des couchages supplémentaires sur la mezzanine. Il y a une salle de bain et 2 toilettes. Et la maison est bien équipé en électroménager et en épicerie ce qui était un gros plus. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir !

Fabulous Beach Front Holiday Location!

we had a great stay at this property, enjoyed walks on the beach with our dogs, great location with Rye and Hythe within 30 minutes drive, both with great history. karting at Lydd and we also ventured through the dunes at GreatStone onto a beautiful sandy beach. Camber sands is only 15 minutes away too. the property itself was wonderful with 3 ghod size bedrooms, 2 kitchens and 2 bathrooms. perfect for our grown up family, with partners and dogs. it was booked with a chilled and relaxing weekend in mind, it met this perfectly

Wat een geweldig mooi ingericht huis op een perfecte locatie. Fantastisch grote tuin erbij. Alle boodschappen en restaurants op loopafstand. Zeer goede communicatie met de host Vinciane. Het huis is van alle gemakken voorzien. Parkeren met 3 auto’s is geen probleem. De bedden zijn prima. Bij aankomst was het huis brandschoon. We hebben een heerlijke week gehad met z’n achten. Volgend jaar zeker weer hiernaartoe. Thanks Vinciane!!!
