Whether it’s partaking in the many beautiful walks in the area, or sightseeing at the historic site or Pennicotts journeys, or you’re looking for a place to relax, Weekend with Arthur is the perfect shack to enjoy all the Tasman Peninsula has to offer.

Sandtemple is a beachfront shack, resting lightly on top of a tiny sand dune between Cremorne Beach and Pipe Clay Lagoon with direct access and views of both. A unique tiny home where the sun sets and rises over water. It’s a space like no other with views out every window. Watch dolphins, ospreys, whales, seals, seabirds in the bay or immerse yourself in nature by soaking in the outdoor tub, swimming or walking the beach or the coastal trails. And it’s an easy 30 minutes to Hobart CBD.

We are happy to offer our family beach front shack for you to enjoy. "Wee Doo" is situated on the beach at Pirates Bay, "Doo Town", Eaglehawk Neck. EHN is the gateway to the Tasman Peninsula, Port Arthur, The Tessalated pavement, Devils Kitchen and the Three Capes Walk to name just a few. Fishing, surfing, bush walking or just relaxing are some of the pastimes you can enjoy right on your door step. Private beach access Wee Doo is newly renovated and fully self contained.

Winkle Shack - waterfront, wood fire, outdoor bath

In Tasmania, a shack can be anything from a corrugated iron lean-to, to an architect designed home. Our place falls somewhere in between, but we reckon it’s one of the best shacks in Tassie. In a sheltered, waterfront spot, it’s a classic little vertical board place built by a family in the 1960s as a get away from Hobart that we've kept improving over the years. This is our family get away, the place that our kids have grown up and memories built.

This waterfront, modern, newly built (2023) holiday home has been built to maximise the all day sun. The open plan makes it the perfect place for your whole family or group of friends to relax and enjoy. Each room in the house has been cleverly designed as to take advantage of the dazzling water views. The house is a short distance away from many iconic places on the Tasman peninsula, including the Tessellated Pavements, Fortescue Bay, and Port Arthur.
