Wer die Gegend um Nazare und Peniche entdecken will, der ist hier am Atlantik bestens aufgehoben. Foz do Arelho ist weniger Minuten entfernt und hat uns bestens gefallen. Das Restaurant Távola Lagoa ist spitze. Beste Küche für Meeresfrüchte und sehr herzlicher Empfang. Leider sind der Weg nach Lissabon etwas weit als auch hatten wir mit dem Wetter großes Pech. Hierdurch waren der Geruch durch die Sickergrube recht stark und der Pool war wenig einladend, da auch recht stark veeschmutzt. Da es das Wetter sowieso nicht zuließ ihn zu benutzen, war das für uns nicht tragisch. Ansonsten ist das Haus für sechs Personen auch aufgrund der viele Bäder gut zu nutzen.

This house worked out very well for two families with kids. It's very big and spread out with lots of sleeping options. There's a tiny bit of wear and tear and we did have to buy/bring all of our own basic kitchen supplies like spices, oils, sugar, salt and pepper, toilet paper, paper towels, shower soaps. But we loved that the house provided beach supplies like chairs, boogie boards, and umbrellas and yoga mats. Nothing much in walking distance but several excellent beaches and places to eat within a few miles. The pool and ping pong table were fantastic and we would definitely recommend this place for a group of travelers. We had a fabulous time. :-)

Cool place with an amazing ocean view! Perfect spot for surfers, with a surf shop right on the first floor offering board and wetsuit rentals. There's also a great restaurant downstairs, making it super convenient to grab a bite after a session in the waves. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to stay close to the beach with everything you need just steps away!

We had a wonderful time here. The house is beautiful and comfortable with great attention to details. It was a very relaxing place to be. We loved spending time here. The coast is stunning and just down the road. We were there for the one day blackout in Spain and Portugal and we were well looked after by the family on the property with candles and flashlight. The bbq came into its own that night.

We were 4 (couple, mother, 1 kid) and stayed a week and it was great. Everything is like the photos. We had luck with the weather and could enjoy the pool and barbecue. Went to Foz do Arelho, São Martinho do Porto, Peniche/Berlengas, Óbidos, Caldas da Rainha, Nazaré and all of this its near like 10 to 25 minutes by car. Never saw any host or neighbors and check in/out by keysafe, wich was great for us. Never eared a noise, its really calm and with great view.

Raquel and her family were so accommodating with our check-in and so friendly. They gave us great advice on things to do in the area. The house is absolutely spectacular! It is even better than the pictures. The pool area is fantastic and our 3 kids loved it. We had everything we needed and more. The location is great and the local town is beautiful. Great to explore Lisbon and the surrounding areas. We would love to return! Thanks so much Raquel!

Had a great two night stay with two young kids. Apartment is very spacious and tastefully designed. It’s a bit humid as it is in the basement. But the outdoor area is really nice to have. We liked the location too.. not impossibly hilly and possible to walk all the way downtown to the water.
