Lovely few days stay, Hayley was very friendly and helpful. Cottage is stunning, much bigger than the photos show and had everything’s we needed. Beds very comfy and big en-suites in every room (although there was only 2 of us) secure garden for our two miniature dachshunds which was great. Location is very peaceful and quiet. Can recommend lunch at the Cumberland which was about a 10 minute walk away. Would definitely recommend this place.

We loved our week at Ivy Cottage. Our boys loved the football nets and we all loved the hot tub! The house had everything we needed and we really appreciated the little added extras that made it feel very homely. Great location too. We’ll be back!

Fabulous place to stay. Susan and Phil great hosts. Always available to answer questions but not in any way intrusive. Accommodation is first class/absolutely faultless. Ideal location for visiting the many surrounding towns and attractions. Would highly recommend Susan and Phil's place.

I absolutely loved our stay at Barnacre Alpacas, we stayed in the rose cottage, it was very clean and the hot tub was a bonus. We enjoyed the alpaca walk and talk, that was something I’ll never forget! On arrival the cottage was dressed up for a birthday surprise and champagne and chocolates was left for us. Thank you to Paul and Debbie, we will be back!

Thanks Ben, we had a great weekend at Stanley Cottage. We really appreciated all the thoughtful touches, dog treats, human treats, phone chargers, hair straighteners, bathroom products!! The cottage was very comfortable and the hot tub a welcome pause, thank you.

Angela’s place was fabulous, we have young children and Angela went above and beyond to make our stay great, would definitely recommend to others, Angela is a wonderful host! The cottage is also very well equipped and clean!

We enjoyed a great break in Peewit Cottage, which was spotless and had everything you need. The surroundings were well looked after and amenities great. The little touches, including the welcome pack (best we’ve had and included the dog!) and Prosecco and strawberries to enjoy in the hot tub were thoughtful and lovely. All the information you need is provided prior to arrival or readily available within the cottage. We used the cottage as a base to visit local attractions, all easily accessible by car. Glen was both very welcoming and helpful. Would definitely recommend and somewhere we would return to. Thank you, Jacqueline!

We went as a family for a 60th birthday. Anna was such a good host, very informative and very helpful. The house was so well laid out for such an occasion, the kitchen was a hub of activity making family meals . It was so nice to feel right at home from the start. All the facilities have been carefully thought out. The hot tub was a very welcome addition. The house is in an ideal spot for days out in beautiful Northumberland. we had a really relaxing 3 days in a beautiful home and will definitely return.

Great stay in Philippa’s place, very cosy and set out in the countryside. Would definitely come back for some quiet time.

Lovely cottage that had everything we neede! in beautiful surroundings. Debi and Mike were really great hosts who communicated well, as well as going the extra mile by putting birthday decorations up for my husband's birthday! We'll definitely be back!

We had a lovely stay at the Quirky house in a great location. Diane was very attentive if we needed anything and for any questions we might have also lots of information of places to eat and visit in the area .

Outstanding cottage, would love to come back soon! The photos don’t do it justice! It’s even better when you’re there. Spotlessly clean, beautiful kitchen/dining room and comfortable bed. The views from the back garden were fab! I can’t recommend this enough, would have happily stayed there longer and will definitely return. It was a lovely gesture that Kate even baked for us!! Had a lovely stay here. Great location in the centre of the village but still peaceful. The house had everything we needed. Very friendly staff on the hotel reception. We would love to come back.

We had a lovely stay in the cottage, it was clean & tidy, loved the wood burner, the bedrooms were lovely especially the master bedroom…very comfy bed. Loved the garden with lots of different seating areas, beautiful view & very peaceful. A 2 minute walk up to the town for shops, restaurants & bars & a 5 minute walk down to the dairy milk bar for fabulous ice creams & milkshakes. Lots of gorgeous near by walks too. A lovely stay & would definitely book again. Thank you Pam.

Beautiful cottage 5 mins from beach. Very clean and tidy, milk in fridge on arrival for a much needed cuppa. Good communication from Nick. Would stay again.

Lovely cottage in a great location. We really enjoyed our stay. Very comfortable, Diane has thought of everything and the little extras like the dog blankets/bowls were very much appreciated. The wood burner made us extra cosy when we had a rainy evening. Great to have parking and somewhere near to exercise our dog. An ideal location , we had days out to Kielder Forest & Seahouses as well as exploring the Roman fort sites. Would definitely recommend this cottage and hopefully we will be back. Thank you.

Very relaxing break in a lovely home. The area is quiet and peaceful. Lovely walk along the promenade to cafe needles eye (definitely worth a visit!)

Very clean, quiet and comfortable. Easy parking outside the house. The house is beautifully decorated, every thin you could need is supplied. Beds very comfortable and nice clean fresh bed linen and towels. Lovely bathroom and powerful shower. All in all a lovely home, close to beach and easy access to other places of interest. Would recommend staying there

We had a great family gathering to celebrate our Golden Wedding Anniversary with our eldest son and his family next door in #12 and our youngest and wife with us. I am partially disabled due to a fall after our initial booking and expressed my concern about the showering facilities before arriving. Michael responded to this by adding grab rails, shower stool and mat before our arrival. Full marks for that. I had also been concerned by the prospect of climbing stairs, but managed them well enough. The cottage was light, bright and very clean . It is 5 minutes to Cullercoats Bay beach, albeit down a steep hill. There is Co-Op store 5 minutes walk in the other direction. Didn't try the Queen's Head but did go to the free jazz lunchtime session in the Cullercoats Crescent Club and was made most welcome. We would use this cottage again if the occasion shoud arise.

We’ve just arrived home from another amazing stay at the beautiful Border View cottage. Lucy is a fantastic host: super responsive, friendly and makes you right feel at home. Border View is a wonderfully charming cottage with spacious, airy rooms and amazing views. It is a very private and peaceful location and offers an array of nature walks which my little miniature schnauzer loved! You feel out of the way of the hustle and bustle, but still just a short car ride away from the busier villages in the area. To the rear of the property is a large garden with views across the pretty field and beyond - my favourite part was watching the stars at night as the sky is so clear here - beautiful! Lucy’s cottage is beautiful and has everything you need for a cosy stay including a log fire with logs kindly provided, a large kitchen and dining area and the beds are very comfortable. We have just returned from a wonderful week at Hethpool. Eildon was a wonderful host. We would not hesitate in returning to Hethpool Cottage and intend to do so. I have already been singing its praises to colleagues

we had a lovely relaxing stay. The cottage was tucked away in a peaceful location but still walking distance to go into town. lovely places to eat and plenty of shops. We enjoyed the local crafts at the market. So much to do in the surrounding area
