Wake up to the sounds of nature and explore the trail of +-9 km , walking, cycling or birding. Visit Sterkfontein Caves and the Maropeng World Heritage Site in the Cradle of Humankind. Enjoy a dip in the cold water splash pool on a hot summers day ( Note the splash pool is closed from 30 April- 30 September) or sit by the open fire .

Our cottage, with backup Solar and Water Tanks to ensure our guests stay comfortable, is tucked away under a big sweet gum tree. Guarded by our two friendly Chow Chow dogs the cottage looks out on our pool and has its own outside patio and braai area. Inside the cottage is a cozy studio apartment with a kitchenette, study nook with WiFi, a cupboard and a comfortable double bed. The separate modern bathroom is stocked with fresh towels and soap.

Peaceful haven in the heart of one of Johannesburg’s oldest and safest suburbs with private entrance, off-street parking, security guard, back-up water and power systems. Expect high quality linen, stylish furnishings, treats and fresh flowers. All these come at a premium, but our guests who have consistently scored us 5 stars think it’s worth it!
