Farm Cottage, is a deceptive name for our spacious detached stone-built house which has been occupied by our family for approx 200 years. it is centrally located in the village of Thropton, on the edge of the Northumberland National Park. There are 2 pubs in the village, one of which has an excellent restaurant.The busy town of Rothbury lies two miles to the east. The Garden Room is an annexed mini-suite with its own private entrance and overlooks the cottage gardens
The Old Duck House is a very cosy, luxury, self-catering holiday cottage on the edge of Northumberland National Park, near Alnwick, Cragside, Hadrian's Wall and Rothbury, as well as Bamburgh, Craster and Seahouses on Northumberland's Heritage Coast. The Old Duck House is a detached cottage close to the burn, making it ideal for spotting aquatic wildlife.
