My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets). I do have a 50.00 pet fee per dog up to 2 dogs only. It is located just above the entrance to the Smoke Hole Canyon with great fishing, beautiful scenery along the paved country curvy road. You can drive through the canyon and come out on Rt 28 just below the Smoke Hole caverns and gift shop. Then continue to Seneca Rocks and hike the rocks or drive to Nelson Rocks for zip lining.

Heydt Homestead

A five-minute drive from Seneca Rocks and a perfect get away for your climbing, hiking, fishing, caving, and skiing trips. This quirky, homey, recently renovated farm house is at the epicenter of Canaan Valley, Spruce Knob, North Mountain trail, and the Dolly Sods. A fantastic location for lovers of the outdoors or those in need of a rest. Enjoy the Allegheny Mountain views of the Monongahela National Forest, the neighbors horses, and be lucky enough to be lulled to sleep by the whippoorwill!

Get comfortable with mountain views and fresh, clean air at 3,200' altitude, close to Canaan Valley/Blackwater Falls State Parks. Also, Dolly Sods, Seneca Rocks and Spruce Knob (highest point of WV). Lots of hiking/biking trails. Unique shopping in Davis and Thomas with a variety of restaurants. Fast food? An adventurous, scenic drive goes to Parsons, with the only McDonald's and traffic light in the county. Relax on the back deck to view the horse pasture and the small private airport.

Finn's Frolic is our charming, country tiny home. Less than 2 hours DC, Charlottesville. Beautiful farm, mountain views, deck, fire pit, charcoal grill, much more. Landscaping is in the works ! Kitchen is fully equipped, vintage & new dinner wear. Living room has an electric fireplace, huge picture window, comfy love seat. The bedroom is up traditional stairs: loft bedroom, 7 foot sloped ceiling. Great place to relax, base for visits to local wineries, attractions! Perfectly imperfect!

Close to historic towns, Civil War battlefields, wineries, breweries, distilleries & hiking trails. Access to Shenandoah National Park/Skyline Drive's Thornton Gap entry is 30 miles from the Mount Jackson apartment. Shenandoah Caverns is minutes away and Luray Caverns is less than 30 minutes away. Less than 30 minutes from JMU & EMU. Easy 4 minutes access to Interstate I-81.

This is a basement apartment in the heart of Canaan Valley. Less than 10 min drive to everything: Timeberline ski resort, Canaan Valley ski resort, incredibly fun local XC ski area Whitegrass, art galleries, amazing food options, breweries, and even distilleries! There are two state parks to hike and explore within 10 mins, and a beautiful wildlife refuge only one mile away. Whatever outdoor recreation you enjoy, Tucker Co has the best places to explore. Built in 1857, this 2nd floor suite offers antiques furnishings, a private entrance, master bedroom, bathroom, kitchenette, and mud room. It has a queen bed, dresser, large porch with views of the river, a clawfoot tub with shower, sink, toilet, and a well stocked farmhouse kitchenette with a double induction cook top, sink , fridge and more. We do not offer a TV. Near Elkins.
