Cozy, 12 x12’ sleeping cabin on three acre property in the Ohia forest in Mountain View. Situated four miles off Hwy 11 between Hilo and Volcano National Park, come try off-grid living in a private setting. Fully equipped with solar lighting, propane on-demand hot water and great wireless internet. The 1400’ elevation makes for cool evenings and comfortable sleeping. The shared kitchen and full bath are located just steps away in a separate building. Kitchen has a gas stove and full sized refrigerator. Laundry facilities are located here as well and free to use. Rural location provides privacy and quiet. Volcano National Park is 20 minutes away, Hilo 25. Keau’u is less than 10 miles and offers gas, groceries, post office, urgent care and limited fast food.

We at Hawaii Volcano Coffee Company welcome you to stay at our beautiful studio cottage overlooking one of our many organic coffee orchards. We are located between two of the Big Islands most iconic areas; Hawaii Volcano National Park and Hilo's beaches, approximately both a 20-minute drive from the studio. One of the best things about this house is that it's located less than a minute from Highway 11 on a paved road. This 2 bedroom home is located in a quiet neighborhood halfway between the Volcano Nat'l Park and the bayside town of Hilo(a 20 min. drive both ways).There is a fully equipped kitchen with appliances and supplies (range+oven, refrigerator, microwave, rice cooker, coffee maker, utensils, table setting, and cookware).Clean and comfortable place to come back to after a day of exploring.

I've always been drawn to the images of the Native Hawaiian Kauhale (Hawaiian Village). With the Kalo patches, the bananas, the placement of ulu and coconut tress. It all just communicated a feeling of health and vitality where the land and it's people were in harmony. This vision is my guiding light as I cultivate this space. My hope is that you will feel it's expanse, it's thoughtfulness, it's mana (spiritual power). Here you can connect to what is needed, peace....the house is awesome too.

Our slice of paradise sits on 1 acre of manicured tropical orchard with over 40 varieties of fruit trees, a giant stand of bamboo, hundreds of orchids and herbs. Newly constructed unattached studio cottage with canopy queen size bed and super comfortable full size futon. Indoor bath with shower and outdoor bamboo shower. Brand new kitchen and an adorable lanai for enjoying the panoramic view of sunset or morning coffee. Our teak swing above the cottage offers a horizon view of the ocean.

Cozy Hilo Studio

Cheerful and bright, this studio is located on first floor of 2 story home. Studio guests will have the downstairs to themselves. Your Host lives upstairs. The studio has a private entrance and on site parking for 1 car. A full private bathroom is connected to the studio. Wifi and workspace suitable for remote working.Guests can access a large downstair's lanai with tropical gardens and an ocean view. A perfect place to relax Hawaiian style! Washer and Dryer available ($5 per load).

Charming Rainforest Cottage

Surrounded by orchids and other tropical flowers, the cottage is located on two lovely landscaped acres - 30 minutes from Hilo or Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. The property is solar powered, an off-grid sustainable system with 4G phone service and fiber optic wifi. The last two miles are on unpaved gravel road in variable condition depending upon how much rain we've had lately. Four wheel drive isn't necessary but an SUV or similar vehicle with higher clearance is recommended.

We are hosting a Quiet Hawaiian Oasis, less then 15 min from Hilo, Hilo airport and 15 min from the earthy hippie town of Pahoa. Our Ohana has easy access to main road but far enough away to be in complete silence and zero light pollution. The studio is separate from main house with a kitchenette, full bathroom with tub and central air conditioning. If your looking for great beaches, waterfalls, and hikes through the rainforest and botanical gardens, look no further.

Country Guest Home

(REF TAX ID TA005-218-0480-01) Enjoy time in a small (384 sq ft) self-contained guest shack with full kitchen in a rural setting. If you don't find the sound of coqui frogs at night obtrusive to your sleep, then this space would be suitable. While you will have privacy, my dad stays in the main house in case you need assistance in person. We are located at about 100 foot of elevation which provides for relatively cooler nights.
