There is a 2 hour walk to the historic Lime Mine through a Bush Reserve, or just watch the cows meandering pass the house from the window seat. We have everything you need to make your stay comfortable plus no noise, no light pollution, a great get away spot, indoor shower & outdoor baths

Soothing Riverside Cabin, Taumarunui

No cleaning fee, minimum 2 night stay. Cabin is a bedroom only, toilet, shower and kitchen located separately a few metres away. You are on the tip of a peninsula in the Whanganui River. Lie in bed and watch the fish rise in the morning, sit around the fire in the evening enjoying the peace and quiet after a swim. Mountains are 40 mins away, kayaking tours 10 mins away and Taumarunui is 12km. Please don't bring water, free, safe water is provided. Limiting plastic is much appreciated.
