Lovely, quiet apartment with stunning views of the river. We saw seals, otters and plenty of birds from the apartment balcony. Tony was great and gave us lots of information about the local area/environment. Would definitely recommend. Thanks!

Lovely little flat in a beautiful location. I needed to catch up on a few days of work and this was the perfect place. Clean, wonderfully decorated and quiet. Communication was prompt and very helpful. Great little place!

La promesse de la vue était fabuleuse et nous avons pas été déçus. Si vous recherchez un endroit paisible et isolé, c’est l’endroit parfait. Il n’est pas parfaitement placé si vous cherchez les endroits touristiques à visiter mais le lieu se suffit à lui même pour quelques nuits et il est parfait pour se reposer et profiter du calme. Les chambres et pièces de vie sont très belles et bien décorées. Merci de mettre une belle maison comme ça à disposition.

Our stay was fantastic, especially given that we booked last minute after another place fell through. The host was incredibly responsive, making sure everything was ready for us. The real highlight was the breathtaking view overlooking the water, with mountains in the distance – truly picturesque! The house itself was spacious and ideal for our group, nestled in a private, peaceful spot that felt like a true retreat. The kids had a great time with the nearby beach just a few minutes’ walk away, and they loved exploring the vast open land surrounding the property. Another great part was the location – it’s about a 15 minute drive to Oban, a lovely town with plenty to do. It gave us the perfect balance of seclusion and easy access to town activities. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to enjoy both tranquillity and the option of nearby excursions!

Our fifth visit to Hamilsmay. The children are now 15 and 12 and still beg to come back. It’s a super relaxing week that we all look forward to - we read, did jigsaws, played cards, walked miles, and spent a great deal of time starring out the window at the red squirrels, seals, birds right there. It’s just the perfect spot - so special to all of us. Eileen hosted us this time. We all love her - she knows everything about the area and we felt looked after. We’ll be back! Thank you!

We loved our stay here, the house & surroundings are beautiful. The photos of johns house were great but it’s actually more stunning in real life, we were so happy to stay here. It has everything you could need like a home from home and really don’t need to leave the property but it is great that there are 2 pubs within walking distance. The scenery and surrounding are just spectacular. John was very helpful and responded quickly when we contacted him. Highly recommend staying here. Thanks John, my family and I had a great time.

We had a wonderful few days here in this characterful property, loved the uniqueness of it. The showers are amazing, really powerful. Such a peaceful place and fantastic to see the red squirrels feeding on some nuts and seeds we left out.

We spent an extremely peaceful few days at the lovely Pod 2. It was much cosier than we expected and had everything we needed. It's a very beautiful setting. The Loch is perfect for paddleboarding and swimming. We enjoyed exploring Innis Chonnel castle and swimming by the Avich Falls. We will certainly return, many thanks again

The property is in a most beautiful location with views directly over the water. We were on Bute to walk and from the accommodation, you can step out the door and set off on one of the trails, a gorgeous two hour circuit of the southern area - stunning. The property was very comfortable and very well equipped. We had a great stay and a good meal at the hotel just up the road. The only recommendation I would make is to have wifi on site; we needed it in order to plan our walking and boat logistics. All in all, though, a great stay and I would definitely recommend it.

Prachtig, ruim huis dat mooi verzorgd en schoon is. Omheinde grote tuin zodat kinderen (en hond) rustig buiten kunnen spelen. Heel veel voorzieningen aanwezig, prachtige uitzichten over het meer vanuit de eetkamer, veranda en het balkon boven. Vriendelijke host, reageert snel en heeft tips voor de omgeving. Prima prijs/kwaliteit verhouding! Wij raden het zeker aan. NB: Aanlegsteiger die in advertentie wordt genoemd is niet bij het huis. Huis zelf zit op de heuvel met uitzicht op het meer, dat 5 minuten naar beneden lopen is.

We had a wonderful New Year here. The stunning and ever changing views across the Clyde from the large living room windows are excellent. A great place to relax, draw and spot wildlife. The place is spacious and plenty of room for 2 couples. This is our 2nd stay and we loved it.

Fantastic cottage in a great location for peaceful days relaxing by the loch or for visiting Scotland. Lovely little pub just a few doors down and nice food served. Friendly host and nice welcome pack.

This cottage is fantastic. Everything here has been thought of. If you were inclined you could literally prepare any main meal here. The location was perfect for us looking for a simple, peaceful base to explore Bute from. The host has placed in the cottage. plentiful maps, walks and references for things to do on the Island. Ettrick bay is a tranquil retreat with amazing scenery in every direction. It has good walks locally and an hourly bus back into Rothesay. If you wish you can walk the old Tram path back to Port Banantyne (about 90 mins). I have to say we were extremely fortunate with the weather (17-21 March) and it was wonderful at the end of the day to sit on the patio with a glass of wine staring out to sea and the Island of Arran. Simply Stunning.

Schöne, schicke und gemütliche Lodge mit Whirlpool. Wir hatten eine gute Zeit! Man hat viel Platz und es gibt zwei Badezimmer, jeweils mit Dusche und Toilette. Der See ist in der Nähe, und mit einem kleinen Boot oder zum Stand up Paddling ist es dort bestimmt toll. Der Vermieter war sehr nett.

Absolute 10/10 hosts, could not be more helpful and friendly. Cannot fault the beautiful Woodside tower. We had a fabulous time relaxing and rewinding, will absolutely be back.

Jason and Mairi's accommodation is a gem! Beautifully situated within a gorgeous walled garden with the sea on your front doorstep. The accommodation is immaculate and wonderfully warm. Fairlie is a lovely village with Largs nearby and walkable along the coast. We only wish we had booked for longer. We would 100% stay again and highly recommend to others. Jason and Mairi are fabulous hosts.

Andrea was amazing, warm welcome right from the check in and gave an informative house tour. The house was beautiful even with the pictures it was just even better in person from the pond to even a view of the loch. Amazing host with amazing marshmallows and fire place, will defo be returning for the summer 🫶🏻🫶🏻

We had a great stay at Mel's place. Looks exactly like the photos, amazing views of Loch Lomond. Clean, tidy, comfy, cosy. We can also recommend the local Cruise Loch Lomond and the Tarbet Hotel - both just up the road. Cruise was stunning and Hotel great restaurant and staff. Mel great host, welcoming arrival and great with messaging. Thanks Mel! We hope to return in the future!!

We had our mums 80th with her family and the place was so well equipped with everything you need the rooms and space was fabulous and very well presented with its own individual character,the area brought back so many memories for my mum we can not thank and praise Alan and the place enough Thank you

Excellent 4 bedroom/5 full bathroom house. It is very private on a picturesque peninsula in in the small village of Kenmore. Beautiful view of loch and river from all the windows. Lots of space for larger groups. Games and books to entertain. The host is very prepared for guests. Kitchen and dining area quite large. Washer and dryer in laundry room with ironing board and iron. Adjustable heat throughout. Gorgeous house with wonderful history. Well situated about 1.5 hr from EDI. Easy to drive there. Sheep and little lambs everywhere! Very peaceful and pastoral. Highland Safari is about 10 min drive - and definitely an activity to do when staying here. Aberfeldy is 15 min easy drive to get groceries, gas, and access to local restaurants and bakery (Breadalbane!). Easy to communicate with host. Minimal checkout requirements. Highly recommend!

We had a lovely stay at this amazing house in a beautiful location. The house is huge. with lots of rooms to do different things. The hosts were happy to respond to the odd queries we had along the way, and I would be confident had anything gone really wrong they would have fixed it cheerfully. If we ever had a similar special occasion to treat ourselves in the future we would definitely consider staying again.

Stayed here for the weekend with all our family to celebrate a graduation and the place was just perfect. The hot tub was amazing, a bbq was provided. The rooms were so clean and each had a bathroom which was great for privacy. The little details that Justin and Rae added made the stay so special - there was little boxes in each room with water and snacks, the bathrooms stocked with shampoos etc, and they even supplied us toys for the kids. To top it all off they even decorated the house for my partners graduation with balloons and banners! Would 100% recommend this stay for any family gathering - thanks Justin and Rae!
