We stayed here for our 10-year anniversary with our two kids and our little dog, and it was just perfect. Mornings were misty and magical—watching the sunrise while the kids tore up and down the road on their bikes. My wife got some good Comrades training in, and we all enjoyed the fresh country air and some bird watching. The cottage had everything we needed and was super comfy and clean. We made breakfast together, sipped wine by the fire in the evenings, and just soaked up some real quality family time. Phillipa is an excellent host and very responsive to all our questions, we would love to return here someday!

We loved our stay. Beautiful views, nice and private but not too far from shops and activities. The kids enjoyed the swimming pool and most of all the fire pit :) Thanks Mike, we’ll be back.

Genevieve’s place is set in a lush green valley cleverly hidden from the main road and cocooned from the noise. She has taken the time and effort to create a cozy and practical place furnished with everything you will need for your stay. My Blessings and I loved the soft beds and crisp clean bedding. It also meant a lot to us that the hosts were super communicative, furnishing us with the load shedding time table. In addition Genevieve was very attentive to every little detail, responding quickly to direct us when we were getting lost. Security is really good. There are solar powered lights all around the property making a lone traveller will be quite safe.

We had a lovely time at this cosy cottage. Shane gave clear check-in instructions and they were very accommodating. The garden is truly amazing and makes for a peaceful stay. The kitchen is well equipped and enhanced our holiday experience. The well stocked linen closet made it feel like home while the washing machine washed and dried our clothes. We would definitely recommend this little bit of peace for your next trip.

Large old family home with lots of character. Everything was perfect, clean and comfortable. We were a large group of parents visiting PMB for the Maritzburg College rugby festival. The house was 10min away in a safe neighbourhood. The house is comfortable to accommodate large groups. Housekeeping was an extra bonus. We would definitely visit again.

Staying with Patrick and Desiray was superb. The location was like a piece of heaven and the hosts were so accommodating and kind. The place was private, farm house style, everything lived well, it was a home with gorgeous art work on the walls and books- just felt like home. It was also easy to keep clean and easy to cook in and find what you need. Loved every second and could have stayed longer!
