Exclusive use of cedar hot tub till 10.30pm for a one off payment of £60. Continental breakfast first day. Dogs welcome but not to be left unattended in property.

Nestled in the heart of the beautiful Stonehenge World Heritage Site, just 2 miles from Amesbury, 6 miles from Salisbury, and you can walk to Stonehenge! There is underfloor heating throughout the property, and each bedroom has lockable doors with dedicated en-suites & rainfall showers. There is ample off-road parking in our driveway, a separate guest entrance to the cottage, and a communal guest dining room for breakfast. There is a wonderful, local pub a mile down the road & others close by.

The cottage is next to our house and is a cosy, well equipped place to stay for either a commuter mid week or someone wanting to escape for country walks or bicycle rides. It has a small paved terrace for admiring the view. It is within a mile of Pitt Hall Barn, also close to Oakley Hall, Highclere Castle and Newbury Racecourse to name but a few. A detached, Grade ll, 200 year old thatched cottage in the small village of Ashford Hill, close to Newbury. My husband Andy and I own this one bedroom cottage, which has been carefully furnished and has parking and a small dedicated outdoor space.. It is an ideal base to explore the local area. Guests can visit Highclere Castle (Downton Abbey), attend the races at Newbury Race Course or enjoy the walks in the surrounding area including Watership Down.
