Wonderful Community Home Close to Famous Beaches

Fantastic stay for our first time on big island. Keoni’s place was awesome. Updated everything,Tons of space, ac was great. Nice outdoor spaces for morning and evening. Also close 5-10 drive to shopping, grocery and restaurants. 15-20 minutes to best beaches on island. And honestly Spencer beach park was our favorite. 20 minutes, soft sand, small waves, tons of shade. Would stay at Keoni’s place again in a heartbeat. Mahalo for a great stay Keoni.

We really enjoyed our time in Hilo. Richard's house was a great space for our family. Definitely a chill, summer house vibe. It had everything we needed, and the view out the picture windows was stunning. We loved the huge tree in the front yard. We spent a lot of time at Richardson Beach. Snorkeling was really great. We would love to return.

This place is a great home base for exploring Volcanoes National Park and the Hamakua coast. The house was exactly as pictured. We had no major issues. It did get a little warm in there at night but it was air conditioned with wall mounted and window units. It’s located right off of the main road but was quiet at night. The view is next level…literally right on Hilo Bay. Truly beautiful. Super close to downtown Hilo. You could walk if you want but you’d have to go over the Hilo Bay bridge which can be busy. Jordan was a great host…responsive and extremely helpful. Overall I would recommend this place as a quality jumping off point for exploring this half of the Big Island.

Fairway Terrace F-107: Golf Course Views & Pool

The townhome is beautiful, so quiet. The neighbors were all really kind and pleasant. The golf course employees were pleasant and helpful. Pool and Hot tub were great! The hosts were very responsive by text to my son who arrived several hours before we did. I did not fully comprehend that the twin bed was an under queen pull out. this was awkward with the mix of people and the queen bed in that room was kind of a day bed, so also, unusual in layout. Lots of bedding and the laundry machines are super convenient. So very clean and comfortable. Flock is Nene birds hung out in the greens every day. so cool! Oh the lovely tree provided perfect shade for the lanai as well as so many birds and critters to watch! We would absolutely stay again!

Jacklynn’s place was a piece of paradise! The bungalow was spotless clean and and nicely decorated. The garden is full of fruit trees and flower, very big and so peaceful. We loved the jungle trail! It was so beautiful and private! We also enjoyed the hot tub! Jacklynn was a perfect host: responsive, kind and always smiling. We felt immediately at home and our daughter loved her nice dog! She also recommended some local restaurant. We definitely recommend a stay at Jacklynn’s amazing place!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home! It had all the comforts of being at home—very clean, cozy, and well-stocked. The bed was super comfy, and we especially loved the huge shower and the cold water refill tank, which was perfect for filling our reusable bottles. The home itself and the large yard were absolutely gorgeous, offering a peaceful setting. The location is quite far out, so it feels very remote and serene, but it did make finding it at night a little tricky since there are no street lights. Thankfully, the host provided excellent directions, and we were able to find it without a problem. It can get a bit warm without much breeze, but the fans provided helped a lot. Overall, a beautiful and relaxing place to stay!

This home exceeded our expectations! Beautiful interior: spacious, open and airy interior. The hot tub and backyard lawn are very nice. This is one of the best homes in Waikaloa Village. If you have 4 or more people, I strongly recommend staying here. Waikaloa Village is a peaceful, residential community ten minutes up the hill from the beach. The weather is cooler and less humid than the beach--more comfortable, in my opinion. There are restaurants and grocery stores within walking distance, and it is very convenient for driving to Waimea, Hilo, Volcano and Captain Cook. The hosts, Rich and Toni, were very responsive and flexible. They made us feel very welcome--including a beautiful basket of local fruits and a bouquet of flowers awaiting our arrival. Couldn't have been better!

Everything we needed was there. The kitchen was well-equipped for staying a couple weeks. We usually eat breakfast where we stay, although Hawaiian Style Cafe in Waimea was worth the drive. We also like to cook occasionally, especially in area like this where can buy fish at a market (Hale l'a Da Fish House). We appreciated the spices, olive oil,... in the cupboard. The beach towels, beach chairs and cooler were good to have because you can't pack all that! The hosts were quick to answer any questions we asked.

Daryl was a great host always friendly and available when we need anything. house rules very clear, we definitely enjoyed their garden and open spaces. Beautiful sunrises and nice view from the room.

Mahalo for everything. I felt at home with Delia & Kim from the very beginning. Their loving nature and the effort they put into everything is extraordinary. I'll never forget the Big Island for several reasons, and staying with Delia and her family is definitely one of them. The location is worth its weight in gold for anyone seeking peace and quiet. Julia's airbnb was the best i have ever stayed at. I liked how her direction and instructions are clear and concise before arriving The home is basically brand new from the kitchen, to the living room, to the bathroom, to the bedroom. It is fully equipped in the kitchen and each room has a heater. It was nice to open the windows all throughout the home to hear the wind blowing through the trees and hear the birds chirping. It is very conducive for those that want to escape the city and meditate in nature. -Also, once inside you can tell the owners invested a lot of time and work into creating a modern and convenient home while still being thoughtful of those that stay there. Plus, the washer n dryer are always a big plus along with detergent and fabric softener. To Julia and her team, Thank you very much for a pleasant and peaceful stay and I hope to return again. 😊🙏✌️

We really enjoyed our stay. The place was very clean and organized. The bedrooms had their own AC units which was important and the bedsheets were clean and fresh. The kitchen had most of the things you need. There were some good items for the beach that we could use, we really enjoyed the chairs. There was one parking spot available near the unit. Thank you for hosting us!

we spent a week in Matthew's place and would be happy to come back on a future trip. The house is large and full of good stuff - games, kitchen stuff, and more. The immediate surroundings are beautiful as is the view from the porch. Matthew is extremelya helpful and thoughtful. He really cared that we will enjoy our stay. Indeed a five star host. Ocean view is about 90 mins from Kona airport. I suggest not arriving at dark the first time - the area is dark and following the maps app we entered one driveway too early - backing up at darkness was scary. Make sure to follow Matthew's instructions and not just the app. The driveway to the house is not fully paved. However, after you see the way once at daylight it becomes easier. overall, we could use the place as a most comfortable place from which we could reach volcano national park several times and many beaches. it was good to be back to a cosy place at night. We would be happy to do this again!

Lucky to grab this location for a few days. Accommodations were great for three parties of folks. Especially great one couple could bring their dog. Unfortunately, we missed the volcano eruptions, which started the day we checked out for home. They seemed to have everything you might need and super cozy, including the reclining couch sections were comfortable enough to sleep in!!

the location, close to downtown, was perfect. the house and grounds were immaculate. kitchen had everything you would need to self cater. there were many options outside for lounging. note the directions to 64 instead of the address, 66. and note the email for using the punch code on the door knob in lieu of the app which references the lock box.
