A wonderful stay in a beautiful home. We loved the views.

Een mooie woning, groot, opgeruimd en erg huiselijk. Alles is aanwezig en zelf meer, denk aan pleisters of kaarsjes. We hebben een geweldige tijd gehad met twee families. Mochten we nog een keer naar Schotland gaan dan verblijven we graag hier.

We had a fantastic time at the cottage and exploring the Scottish Borders, especially the haunts of our favorite literary hero, Francis Crawford of Lymond (of Dorothy Dunnett's The Lymond Chronicles). The cottage is tastefully decorated, with a very functional kitchen and comfortable bedrooms. The estate is a lovely place to wander and the nearby Tweed is fascinating. The only thing that could be considered missing is a real view from the house itself. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful stay at Lara's Airbnb! The house was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. Lara was an excellent host—warm, responsive, and thoughtful throughout our stay. We all truly enjoyed our time there and would definitely come back. Highly recommended!

A lovely stay, great for a weekend getaway with the girls. We did all our own cooking so a couple more dishwasher tabs and also a couple more loo rolls would have been ideal. Otherwise, had everything we needed for cooking and having a lovely time!

Adorable accommodation with everything you need. It is also very pleasant to be able to sit outside with a drink in the sun. We enjoyed our stay at the old school roost.

Our family had an amazing stay at the coal house,kid friendly with toys they can play with, very clean and had all the stuff we needed Carla and Alan were great host and fast to answer any questions we had. Would recommend for anyone that has kids Thank you again

Great base to explore Edinburgh and surrounding area. Everything you could need in the property, great kitchen, bathroom, comfy beds. Able to park the car off the road, which was a nice bonus. Approx 45 minute walk in to centre, where we visited the castle and shops. Great pub - The old chain pier down at the harbour (about 10 minute walk) and a great harbour for sunsets and a cold beer. The apartment is located on a quiet street off the grassmarket, with lots of restaurants nearby and perfect for exploring Old Town on foot. You can see Edinburgh Castle from the living room, and it's a 10-minute to the top of the hill (if you don't get distracted by all of the shops along the way). Susie and Amit are wonderful hosts. They welcomed us with fresh bread and pastry from a local bakery, which we paired with cheeses from a cheesemonger just up the street (Mellis Cheese Victoria Street). They also accommodated our request for an early check-in after our overnight international flight (a lifesaver), and they were quick to answer any questions when we arrived, even making a special trip over to check on the shower while we were sightseeing. The apartment's decor was very warm and comfortable, with thoughtful touches throughout. We made good use of the table, which seats up to 4 people, and found that the kitchen covered all of our basic necessities. A great stay!

Our stay at 21 Jeffrey Street was truly outstanding; easily one of the best Airbnb experiences we’ve had. The apartment is in a perfect location, just steps from the Royal Mile and a short walk to Edinburgh Castle, Holyrood Palace, and Waverley Station. Everything you need is within easy reach. The flat is beautifully presented, stylish, and very comfortable. It’s clear a lot of care has gone into making the space welcoming and functional. The furnishings are tasteful, the bed was comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed. We especially loved the charming Old Town views from the windows. Yes, there are four flights of stairs, but they’re absolutely worth it for the peace, views, privacy, and charm of this top floor flat. Check-in was seamless, with great communication from our host, who was helpful and responsive throughout. We felt well looked after and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. A true gem in the heart of Edinburgh. Thank you!

We hebben drie heerlijke dagen gehad in St. Monans. Vanuit Jackies huisje loop je zo naar de haven en van daaruit ben je ook snel op de kustpaden. A gem right in the middle of Old Town! Everything we wanted to see was accessible steps from the street entrance. The only drawback for one of our party was getting up the four flights of stairs. Pack light for this booking. Thank you Charlotte for sharing your lovely place!

we have just left Howford house after a lovely 3 night weekend stay to celebrate my husbands 40th. we were a family of 14 adults, 2 children and a newborn baby and we had the most peaceful comfortable stay. the house is fantastic, it has everything you need and the location although super private and peaceful, it was near restaurants, the coop supermarket, Traquair House and land which we got discounted because we were house guests, and lots of walks and hikes. the surrounding acres were stunning with the frost and autumn leaves. we all loved our stay, the kids (and the adults) didn't want to leave. special thanks to Elaine the housekeeper who was brilliant with her communication and help. we will recommend and be back in the future.

Stayed here for 2 nights with 5 other adults - one of the best decisions! As a start, check-in was smooth. Everyone has their bed, towels which is great. Had to figure out the heater (our country is Summer all year) and Lukas was very responsive. This location is almost a straight drive to the city centre. With free parking at the location, it gave us great relief to know we won’t get penalised. Love this place! I would recommend this to others.

Entering this well appointed, beautiful home, there is a feeling of warmth and relaxation. The skylights bring in the natural light to the bathrooms. The Kitchen is modern and sleek, with everything you need to make a first class meal. The visually stunning, spacious backyard has a wonderful garden. There is a park just behind the house. My daily jog would lead me down to the beach. Here i would do a quick cold plunge- rejuvenating my body. The area is surrounded by a world renowned collection of golf clubs. The Longniddry golf club is a short walk and is a fun track. Thank you for being great hosts.

The host with friendly, kind and always helpful. We did not want to leave this place was amazing and so relaxing. Just what the doctor ordered. Exceptional

The Airbnb is located at a very convenient location, quite close to the Portobello Beach, which is a short walk away. It is also close to good Restaurants, Bus Stops and a pharmacy is around the corner as well. There also a couple of parks around if you want to lounge about amongst nature. The AirBnB room itself was very clean, cosy and comfortable with clean linen and a very nice big and clean bathroom as well. Suzanna, the host is very friendly and warm. She had some interesting inputs on the places to eat, the modes of travel like bus routes and places to avoid taking the car. We had a great time staying out of Suzanna’s abode & would highly recommend it if you’re planning a trip in Edinburgh! P.S: there is no breakfast included, but good options around.

This house was exactly as advertised. Spacious and beautiful. Perfect for two families. Check in was easy and Jacki was very responsive.
