We had a wonderful week, the flat was pristine, comfortable and peaceful. Just what we needed! Beth and Scott were great hosts, responding quickly to any questions we had. Ryde is a great base for exploring the island, and the flat is an easy walk to the town centre and restaurants etc.

Honestly one of the best Airbnb places we have stayed. It is spotlessly clean. The gardens we over looked were beautiful and we loved watching the birds feed. Roy has thought of everything you need to have a perfect stay and we will definitely be returning.

Our second stay at this lovely apartment. Katarina is always very helpful and accommodating. Her place is very clean and comfortable and in a great area being close to the Common, sea front and Gunwharf . There are some fabulous restaurants and cafes nearby, within walking distance. Our son lives in the next road so it's super handy for us so no doubt we will be back again. Highly recommended.

Excellent accommodation and exactly what we needed to be in the centre of Shanklin. Terry the owner was an excellent host and always contactable via email. We will definitely stay here on our next visit to the Isle of Wight.

Marie was such an accommodating host, and so thoughtful! She proactively asked if any children were coming, if we needed any special requirements, and even left an Easter egg along with goodies for us on arrival ❤️ The apartment is very close to the station, but very peaceful inside. Felt at home right away. Plenty of games available - kids loved their first taste of Twister! Thanks again!

Great location! Took the family to see Arundel Castle which is very close to the Flat. We were able to park right out front. The center of town is a short walk from the flat so it's easy access for dining out and enjoying a stroll through this wonderful town. The flat was clean and everything worked well.

Absolutely stunning property, super modern and very clean! Michael was fantastic start to finish. Super easy instructions to find & check in. Any questions we had over the weekend he would respond very quickly We didn’t want to leave! 5* will definitely be staying again

We were extremely lucky to have found Olive House. Everything in the house are just perfect or even better than described. Kimberly the Host was incredibly thoughtful and friendly. We were greeted by a vase of beautiful roses and a box loaded with bread, jam, chocolates and chips and useful sightseeing information. There was even supply of fresh milk and butter in the fridge. The kitchen was extremely well equipped with everything we needed, including a bottle of cooking oil, salt, sugar, pepper, teabags and coffee pods. The appliances are like new. All very clean, modern and function perfectly. The coffee machine even comes with a milk frother! A B&O Bluetooth speaker stands by for us to use. The house is spotlessly clean, spacious and stylishly decorated. The kitchen, the living room and the en-suite bedroom all enjoy nice river views and we can see beautiful sunrise. It’s extremely quiet and we all had good sleep. I’d definitely recommend Olive House.

We descended on Niall’s property for a book club weekend, after reading Northanger Abbey and wanting to visit Jane Austen’s house (approx 20min drive away). The house was so remote and peaceful, an expansive garden with beautiful views. We had everything we needed in the kitchen and the living room was perfect for a comfy chat. We did have a few issues which were all speedily resolved by a friendly, proactive host. All in all, a fabulous weekend.

Beautiful house with a beautiful view! Extremely comfortable, clean and well stocked. Everything you could need is there. Rosie provided clear check in instructions and we appreciated the box of goodies she left. Would absolutely recommend and will definitely be back!

Another wonderful stay at this perfectly located, cosy and incredibly family friendly seaside retreat. This time the weather was better so the children could enjoy the garden as well. We will certainly be back.

Many thanks to Andrew for being a great host. We loved the accommodation and the location is perfect for the beach and walkable to the local shops and in a lovely area. The house is extremely well provisioned with everything you could need thought of. The pool table was great fun and the WiFi and smart TV made for nice relaxed evenings. We did not try the wood burner but the heating was so effective with clear instructions. the local beach is beautiful and clean and can be reached in about 5 mins walk. a perfect place for a mini break.

We had a lovely stay Crossways. The house was clean and very cosy. Very comfortable beds and great to have TV's in the bedrooms. WIFI was fast and reliable. Off road parking was a bonus and it was lovely to sit out in the large garden after a day out. The house is located in a very quiet area, which we were surprised about considering the amount of properties there. Check in process was very easy and we had great communication from the hosts. Great base to explore the area.

Sarah’s house is great and made our family gathering for a 70th birthday treat really special. The listing pictures are great, but the house in reality is so much more. The open plan part allows for lots of family time together, the garden provides both a place to relax and for children to play (the the hot tub an added bonus that was enjoyed by all) and the bedrooms are all well sized with comfy beds. East Wittering village centre and beach are a short stroll away with great places to eat and drink, with a lovely ice cream place right on the beach. Thanks to Sarah for being a great host and we hope to be able to stay again in future.

What a lovely, comfy and clean apartment to stay in! The space was super clean and had everything you could need with some really nice touches. The hosts were so friendly and helpful too. Thank you so much for such a homely getaway.

Beautiful apartment, even better than the photos. Absolutely spotless and very well equipped. 5 minute stroll to the seafront. Just past the pottery is a little path winding up through Bonchurch to an old 11th century church and a house Charles Dickens stayed in. The Bonchurch Inn is another 5/10 mins on and great for a drink. Also from Bonchurch seafront it’s an easy flat 30 min walk along the esplanade to Ventnor, which is a village with a pretty little cove with a few cafes / shops and a lovely shingle beach. Beautiful area to stay and a great base for exploring the island. Would highly recommend.

Apartment was clean, comfortable and well equipped for our short stay. Host made check-in/out easy and communicated well.

Fijne en comfortabele accommodatie. Alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig, inclusief keukenspullen, wasmachine en droger. Lekker dichtbij het strand en prima uitvalsbasis om het eiland te verkennen. Wij verbleven met ons gezin (3 jongens van 5, 8 en 9 jaar oud) en hadden met deze accommodatie een fijne tijd op het prachtige eiland!

The entrance is in the road called deanery close where there is a car park at the end of the road. The apartment however is beautiful inside, clean, airy, and quite. I really enjoyed my stay there. I did have a problem to start with but Andrew sorted it out immediately, and was very apologetic. I highly recommend this place and will be saving it in my favourites for a future place to stay.

Excellent with kitchen supplied with basics, which were not expected. Spacious facility. Towels, linen, bedding all excellent. Easy to get to Portsmouth tourism highlights and in a quiet neighbourhood.

Deborah was the perfect host, and responded within minutes to queries and there was a lovely welcome pack at the apartment when we arrived. It was such a lovely relaxing space and the apartment looked very clean and new. The outdoor space was great for the kids, really safe and contained! And the view was amazing. We loved being able to use the back gate to get onto the cliff path and we were down at the beach in 5 minutes. Lots of lovely cafes between sandown and shanklin and plenty to do along the pier and gardens. We will definitely be back, it was such a quiet convenient location to be able to see the island or just get to the beach easily
