1845 School House in the Heart of Pultneyville

Fully renovated in the spring of 2021. According to the Pultneyville Historical Society, the first school, a small crude building, was built on this site in 1808. It burned in 1816 and was replaced by a larger schoolhouse. The cobblestone building was built in 1845 and served as a school until 1943 when the Williamson School District centralized. It is now a private residence. Notice the cobbles set at an angle. A metal bar circles the building as reinforcement — a modern addition.

We have now decided to stay open year-round. Welcome all who love the activities and beauty of our area during November to March. We are one of the few rentals that are pet-friendly (with a small extra cleaning fee) and also allow a single night stay.

Perfectly efficient setup, in a nice neighborhood, that’s in the middle of everything, right at the North end of Seneca lake. 3 minutes from the lake, 5 minutes from downtown Geneva, or 5 minutes from downtown Waterloo.
